Best clips of Madonna Sticky Sweet Tour 2 comments

Thanks to the YouTube bootlegers for letting me relive my Madonna weekend. I went to her last two performances of the Sticky Sweet tour in Madison Square Garden, which were filled with some pleasant surprises. Below are the best moments of the concert:

Britney Spear’s Video Cameo during “Human Nature”

Madonna wilds out during “She’s Not Me”

Madonna Vogues for the first time since Re-invention World Tour (2004)

Madonna “Into the Groove” while jumping rope with Keith Haring

And last but not least, some good old Sarah Palin hatin’. On The Saturday performance Madonna said, “this is what Sarah Palin’s brain sounds like when she’s thinking” while scratching her guitar strings for a good minute.

Video - Reasons to Vote in 48 Seconds No comments yet

After watching the celebrity filled 5 Friends Vote video, Julia and I were inspired to make our own non-partisan PSA to inspire young people to register to vote and participate in the upcoming election.

Alright, so it’s not completely non-partisan seeing as we submitted the video as part of a contest by high speed internet provider EMBARQ. Their internet service connects you to the web an average of 48 seconds faster than dial-up (I don’t know who has dial-up these days but whatever). They asked us to show them what we would do with 48 seconds.

Check out the Digg Labs for BigSpy, a real time news feed good for creating a hierarchy around Dugg articles. Swarm shows how diggers swarm around active stories to make them grow.  It’s the same idea as YouTube’s Warp project.  These applications provide a great visual effect of the “bread-crumbing” nature of social media and content distribution.

Also, YouTube co-founder Steve Chen said YouTube will venture into live video in 2008 during a conversation with Pop17 videoblogger Sarah Meyers.

I learned the story of SPAM in less than two minutes in this cute little video. Nice job SPAM.
